Who are you? (First and Last Name)

  • Michael Sapiro

 

What Organization do you represent? (As it relates to why you’d be getting highlighted in an Esports Newsletter)

  • BetterPlay Studios

 

Why do you personally believe esports is important, both to our region and in general?

  • Our company is based on the premise that video games can improve gamer’s mental health. That can benefit everyone regardless of location. However, our KOZEE video game platform has a majority of games created in the midwest. It’s free right now, so check it out at Kozee.games

 

What games did you grow up playing and what are you playing the most now?

  • Growing up, I was a Nintendo kid. I loved the original Zelda, Mario, the Mega Man games, and JRPGS like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound. Today I’m playing games in the Yakuza franchise, Alan Wake, and right now I’m addicted to Valheim.

 

If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be?

  • That’s such a hard question. Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth would be up there due to the sheer variety it offers. However, Minecraft is a game I think you could play forever.
