On Saturday 4/28 at EVO Japan it was announced 2nd year tournament (Cream City Convergence) will be 1 of 8 locations IN THE WORLD (and 1 of 3 in the USA) to host to a Capcom Cup Qualifier; a competition in which the winners receive $1,000,000 dollars. With this inclusion, this Milwaukee based tournament will see competitors and spectators arrive from around the world, putting the city and state on the map for gaming like never before. Recently several Wisconsin esports members were nominated for EsportsUGAming Collegiate Awards! Scott Dorn (Spectrum Furniture) was nominated for the Community Ambassador award, Dylan Gentilcore (UW-River Falls) was nominated for Director of the Year and Mykiah Bonhom (Spectrum Industries) was nominated for the Rising Star Award.
